Tamarindo Nightlife and Events

Farmers Market:

During your time in Tamarindo, there are plenty of events for you check out and experience. from daytime farmers markets to late night parties, Tamarindo has something for everyone within a short walk from Mango Condos.

Every Saturday, Tamarindo has a farmers market, just a 2 minute walk from Mango Condos. From 8am-1pm, try to get there early to score the best fresh fruits and vegetables farmers bring in fresh. You’ll also find baked goods, artisanal jams and nut butters, farm to table food and many more treats.

El Vaquero:

Is located on the far side of town but is well worth the walk from Mango Condos. This beachside bar is great for live music at sunset and has their very own brewery Volcano Brewing Company, complete with tasting bar attached.

Sharky’s:

Is Tamarindo’s best Sports Bar. With games available on request and drink specials every day, what’s not to like? There’s also Karaoke Tuesdays, Ladies Night on Saturdays and a Beer Pong Tournament every Sunday.

Pacifico Bar:

Tamarindo Beach wouldn’t be what it is without raggae night at Pacifico. Every Thursday, Pacifico Bar blasts reggae either by DJ or live concert. On Wednesdays, they have Ladies Night and great parties on Saturdays.

El Garito:

For house music lovers, be sure to check out El Garito. Hosting Ladies Night on Tuesdays and live DJs every Saturday, El Garito is a great club for dancing.

The Crazy Monkey Bar:

Is the ultimate Tamarindo party spot on Friday nights. They host a full Salsa Band and a Hip Hop DJ who take turns throughout the night.

Aqua Discoteque

has been a Tamarindo staple for years. Their Saturday night parties are legendary as are their post Crazy Monkey Bar parties on Friday night are infamous.

As Playa Tamarindo is located in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica, if you visit during our dry season, you must go to the Fiestas! Part Rodeo, part Carnival, part Dance Hall, traditional Costa Rican Fiestas usually occur on the weekends from December-April. The closest is in Villa Real, a 10 minute drive from Mango Condos and the biggest is in Santa Cruz, about 40 minutes from Mango Condos.
